Hyundai Motor India (HMIL) today reported a 30% year-on-year increase in cumulative sales in fiscal 2004-05 at 2,24,243 units. Domestic sales increased 9.5% to 1,42,150 units, an official release said today. "HMIL recorded 95% growth in exports during fiscal 2004-05 with sales of 82,093 units," the release added. The company recorded its highest ever cumulative monthly sales in March at 23,669 units - a growth of 23.2% from the same period last year, the release said. HMIL's flagship model - Santro - sold 11,833 units in March this year while new entrant Getz sold 1,601 units. Accent sales stood at 2,525 units. While Elantra sales stood at 220, Sonata and Terracan sales were 86 and 50 units, respectively, the release added. |
