The show drew around 20,000 visitors and 10 cars were booked during the Hyundai car show, totalling to Rs 60 lakh. |
"In 2005, we sold around 1,000 vehicles. With the response to the car show from people here, we expect our sales to double in the current year, a company spokesperson said. |
"This car show is being held in 35 cities across the country and this show at Nashik was the second one. The western region is an important market for Hyundai vehicles, accounting for 19 per cent of Hyundai sales in the country. The event will give our customers in non-metro cities a first hand experience of the entire range of Hyundai cars in India and some which may enter India in the near future," said the Hyundai official. |
The exhibition showcased the entire range of Hyundai vehicles sold in India i.e seven cars in six segments - the Santro in the B segment, Getz in the B+ Segment, the Accent in the C segment, the Elantra in the D segment, the Sonata Embera in the 'E' segment and the Tucson and Terracan in the SUV segment. Two cars "� the ultra-luxury sedan Azera and the sports Coupe Tuscani, was also showcased. |
