Hyundai launches Elite i20 in Bhopal

The car is aimed at tapping tier-II markets for those customers who want a sedan-look sporty premium hatchback

Hyundai Motor India Limited (HMIL), the second-largest car manufacturer, today unveiled it all- new Elite i20 car. Aimed at tapping tier-II markets like Bhopal and Indore for those customers who want a sedan-look sporty premium hatchback, the company has equipped the new model with latest digital controlled technology.

Besides its sporty look, the innovative hatchback has been refined to a premium style, sleek exterior and intuitive interior design ethos and sporty appearance.

"The Elite i20 design concept focuses on evolved aesthetic and confident perfection. Premium equipment, style and driving dynamics deliver a feeling typically associated with vehicles in the segment above. The new model successfully fulfills the need for driving pleasure of customers, while evoking a sense of confidence and class at the same time," said Sanjay Gupta, a senior marketing executive of the company.

 

The new car is available with choice of high performance and reliable petrol and diesel engine options. The powertrains of Elite i20 have been engineered for delivering combination of high performance and high fuel efficiency.

"It is equipped with 1.2 Dual VTVT Kappa and second Generation U2 1.4 CRDi engines that offer maximum drivability in all conditions, delivering high power and torque with high fuel efficiency 18.2 km to liter in petrol version and 22 km to a liter in diesel version," he said.

Hyundai Motor India Limited (HMIL) is a wholly owned subsidiary of Hyundai Motor Company (HMC). HMIL is the largest passenger car exporter and the second largest car manufacturer in India. "The petrol version of Elite i20 has been priced at Rs 5.014 lakh- Rs 6.62 lakh in four variants while the diesel version comes in range of Rs 6.24 lakh-7.85 lakh," Nishant Kapil regional manager of the company said.
