Indian Airlines (IA) today announced a capacity expansion programme with the introduction of a new flight from Mumbai to Chandigarh and four additional flights ex-Mumbai to Chennai, Hydrabad, Bangalore and Kozhikode.
Also, for the Mumbai-Hydrabad sector, the national carrier would now fly an A300 with 200-plus seats instead of a 150-seater A320 aircraft. The winter schedule would be effective October 27.
