Leading credit rating agency Icra today said its consolidated net profit grew 23.53 per cent to Rs 15.85 crore in the March quarter over Rs 12.83 crore in the corresponding period a year ago.
Consolidated total operating income rose to Rs 50.70 crore in the quarter under review from Rs 43.32 crore in the same period last year, Icra said in a filing to the Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE).
For the year ended March 31, consolidated net profit rose to Rs 53.47 crore from Rs 38.89 crore. Consolidated operating income climbed to Rs 162.32 crore in the year under review from Rs 135.81 crore.
The March quarter standalone net profit jumped to Rs 14.10 crore from Rs 12.08 crore and standalone operating income surged to Rs 33.52 crore in the quarter under review from Rs 28.89 crore in the same period previous year.
The board recommended a dividend of Rs 17 a share on the paid up equity capital of the company for 2009-10.
Shares of the company closed at Rs 966.65, up 0.55 per cent from the previous close on the BSE.
