Idea Cellular is rapidly expanding its 4G LTE services ahead of Reliance Jio's launch. The company now offers high-speed next generation mobile broadband services in 390 towns spread over 32 districts in Maharashtra and Goa.

Idea is the leading operator in Maharashtra and Goa and is the only service provider to offer 4G services in 300 towns in the state. Idea’s 4G LTE service is now available in the major towns of Amravati, Aurangabad, Gondia, Kohlapur, Alibagh, Wardha, Vasco and Panjim, in addition to Nagpur and Ahmednagar where services were launched earlier this year.

Idea has focussed on investing in spectrum, expanding the network and enhancing customer service in Maharashtra and Goa. With a customer base of nearly 26 million, Idea Cellular is the largest mobile operator in the circle.

Rajendra Chourasia - Chief Operating Officer - Maharashtra & Goa, Idea Cellular, said, “Idea is the oldest and largest mobile operator in Maharashtra and Goa. We have always been committed to grow our network in the region and offer the best mobile experience to the people in deep interiors of the circle.
