IDFC Capital appoints Rajesh Jain as Investment Banking Head

Earlier he was associated with RPG Group for almost 11 years

Infrastructure finance company IDFC Ltd today said it has appointed Rajesh Jain as Head of Investment Banking division at IDFC Capital. Prior to joining IDFC, Jain was Head of Markets at KPMG. As a member of KPMG's leadership team in India, he was actively involved in the firm's growth agenda since 2002.

Jain would be responsible for managing the Investment Banking function at IDFC Capital and will report directly to Vikram Limaye, MD and CEO, IDFC Ltd, a company statement said.

He has around 27 years of experience, of which the last 14 years were in the investment banking and consulting space.
 
Prior to KPMG, Jain had worked with Zee Group as President - Corporate Finance and Strategy, where he managed finance & strategy for various businesses of the group.

Earlier he was associated with RPG Group for almost 11 years.

Rajesh holds a Bachelor's degree in Commerce from Mumbai University and is a qualified chartered accountant.
