IIL all set to open two new units

To cater to the growing demand of agrochemicals in India, Delhi-based Insecticides India Limited (IIL), an agro chemicals manufacturer, is setting up two units at Udhampur in Jammu & Kashmir and Dahej in Gujarat with an investment of Rs 55 crore.

With an increased capacity and new products in the offing, the company is targeting a top line growth of 40 per cent from last year and about 50 per cent growth in the bottom line.

Further, the company plans to achieve a nine per cent market share in Punjab market, this financial year. At present, it has market share of 7.50 per cent in the state.

 

Speaking to Business Standard, IIL, Managing Director, Rajesh Aggarwal said, “With two new projects coming up at Udhampur, J&K and at Dahej Gujrat, we are fully geared up to cater to the demand of the market. The pesticides synthesis plant coming up at Dahej is a big project and expected to roll out about 10,000 tonnes annually.
