The Delhi based Indian Institute of Planning and Management (IIPM) has opened an IIPM in Mumbai and plans to open IIPMs in Chennai, Kolkata and overseas.
Located in Bandra suburb of Mumbai, the institute has already started with its first batch of students for this academic year.
Inaugurated last week, the institute will be headed by Shouvick Dutta. It has courses in bachelors and masters in management. IIPM also has a strategic alliance with the International Management Institute of Europe, allowing global recognition to the degrees of IIPM.
IIPM aims at training and research on problems of development in order to meet national objectives, along with establishing the link between the national economic planning and development of private enterprise.
