Infrastructure developer IL&FS Engineering and Construction today said it has received a Rs 1,436 crore Engineering Procurement and Construction (EPC) order for four-laning of Kiratpur Ner Chowk section of NH-21.
"IL&FS Engineering and Construction has received a letter of intent from Kiratpur Ner Chowk Expressway, an SPV incorporated by ITNL, for the project for a total value of Rs 1,436.08 crore," it said in a BSE filing.
The work on the project, which involves four-laning of Kiratpur Ner Chowk Section of NH-21 in Punjab and Himachal Pradesh, would be completed in 1,005 days.

"The total length of the project is 84.375 Km, covering the district of Rupnagar in Punjab and the districts of Bilaspur and Manali in Himachal Pradesh," the filing said.
"The scope of the work also includes 67.3 km of road works, minor bridges, 18 major bridges, five main tunnels including one escape tunnel, flyover, pedestrian/cattle underpass, toll plaza, truck lay byes, bus bays and so on," it added.
The company's scrip was trading at Rs 55.35, up 2.12%, over the previous closing on the BSE in the afternoon trade.
