IL&FS Engineering bags Rs 52-cr buildings project

The EPC contract, received from oil and gas exploration company Cairn India Limited, is for Cairn centre of excellence and allied works at Jodhpur, Rajasthan

Hyderabad-based infrastructure developer, IL&FS Engineering and Construction Company Limited (IL&FS Engineering Services), has received a letter of award for a buildings and structures project for a total value of Rs 52.47 crore.

The EPC (engineering, procurement and construction) contract, received from oil and gas exploration company Cairn India Limited, is for Cairn centre of excellence and allied works at Jodhpur, Rajasthan.

The project, which involves construction of staff quarter, guest house, administration, cafeteria, mess, boys hostel, girls hostel, academic etc, is to be completed in 15 months, the company said in a press release on Monday.

This is the second project that IL&FS Engineering has bagged during this month, with the first being a letter of intent for a Rs 1,436.08-crore project entailing four-laning of Kiratpur Ner Chowk Section of NH-21 in Punjab and Himachal Pradesh.
 

IL&FS Engineering’s scrip is currently trading at Rs 54.50 on the BSE, up 0.28 per cent, over the previous close of Rs 54.35 a share.
