The second edition of the international exhibition and conference on civil aviation —
India Aviation 2010 — will be held in Hyderabad from March 3 to 7. The event is being jointly organised by the Ministry of Civil Aviation , Andhra Pradesh government and industry body Federation of Andhra Pradesh Chambers of Commerce and Industry (Ficci).
Speaking to the media here on Saturday, Ficci trade fairs regional director Vivek Kodial said 190 companies from 18 countries would participate in the biennial event this year.
On the first day, one each A 320 would be delivered to Air India and Indigo. There would be 40 aircraft this year for static and flying display, including 777-300 and 777-200. For the first time, AN148 aircraft from Antonov UAC (Russia) would be on display in India.
Airbus, Eurocopter, Thales, CFM, Safran, Boeing, Bell Textron, GE Aviation and others will participate in the event. France and US would be the partner and focus countries respectively, with the former having the highest participation. Czech Republic, Russia and Netherlands are setting up country pavilions for the first time.
The first three days would be for business meets (ticket Rs 500) and the last two days (ticket Rs 200) would be open for public.
