India Cements today reported net profit at Rs 69.70 crore for the second quarter ended September 30.
The company reported net loss at Rs 33.63 crore during the same period in 2010-11.
For the half year fiscal ending September 30, the net profit of the company stood at Rs 171.74 crore, as against Rs 8.65 crore during the same period of previous year, India Cements said in a statement.
The total income of the company for the second quarter ending September 30, rose to Rs 1,091.92 crore, from Rs 843.47 crore registered during the same period of previous year.
For the half year ending September 30,2011 total income of the company stood at Rs 2,153.64 crore as against Rs 1,752.63 crore during the same period of previous year.
