India ranks 15th on award-winning ads list |

The country has climbed to the 15th position in 2007 from 21st last year in the latest Gunn Report, the annual rating of creative work based on awards won by advertising agencies worldwide in almost 60 varied award shows. The Gunn Report positions McCann India at the 22nd position worldwide and O&M India at the 45th with its adoption campaign garnering the 12th spot. With its celebrated Happydent palace commercial making it to the Top 10 list of the Most Awarded Commercials Worldwide, McCann helped Indian billing move up the ranks. This is the first time that an Indian ad has featured in the 10 most awarded ads.
