India's first integrated solar park at Haldia

The country's first intergrated solar park is planned at Haldia in West Bengal.

The park will be set up by Kolkata-based Srei Infrastructure, Bhaskar Solar Power, and one or two overseas companies at an investment of Rs 3600 crore over an area of 250 acres, Hemant Kanoria, chairman, Srei Infrastructure, said here today.

The project is to be inaugurated next month. The overseas companies will offer technology and be stakeholders in the project.
