Two-wheeler maker India Yamaha Motor today reported 48.02 per cent increase in total sales in February at 25,766 units.

The company had sold 17,407 units in the same month last year, India Yamaha Motor said in a statement.

The domestic sales rose by 17.80 per cent to 16,313 units in February 2010 from 13,848 units in the same month last year, it added.

During last month, the company exported 9,453 units as against 3,559 units in the year-ago period, a jump of over two-fold.

"Our domestic sales continue to be strong for our premium segment products like YZF-R15, Fazer, FZ-S and FZ-16.
