Two-wheeler maker India Yamaha Motor today reported a 23% increase in its total sales at 40,655 units during February 2012.
The company had sold 33,046 units in the same month last year, India Yamaha Motor said in a statement.

Exports of India Yamaha rose by 40.8% to 13,605 units during the month from 9,662 units in the year-ago period, it added.
"We are very pleased with the sales growth that we've witnessed in the past month on account of our strong product portfolio and high customer confidence in us," India Yamaha Motor National Business Head Roy Kurian said.
The company attributed the growth to the success of flagship models such as the YZF-R15, FZ and SZ series, he added.
