Indian Bank net up 11% at Rs 491 cr

Indian Bank has reported a net profit of Rs 491.29 crore during the quarter ended  December 31, 2010 as compared to Rs 441.38 crore, an increase of around 11 per cent.

Bank's total income rose to Rs 2,640.58 crore from Rs 2,308.28 crore, an increase of around 14 per cent.

Bank's gross NPA stood at 1.02 per cent as compared to 0.89 per cent and net NPA 0.57 per cent as compared to 0.16 per cent.
