Public sector lender Indian Bank today reported a 12 per cent rise in net profit at Rs 415.77 crore in the second quarter of 2010-11.
The bank had a net profit of Rs 371.98 crore in the corresponding period last fiscal, Indian Bank said in a statement.
Further, Indian Bank's total income for September quarter stood at Rs 2,559.28 crore as against Rs 2,174.37 crore in the same period last fiscal, it said.
Also, for half-year ended September 30, 2010, the PSU lender's profit stood at Rs 783.92 crore, as against Rs 703.65 crore in the comparable period.
