Indian Hotels FY06 net up 94%

Indian Hotels has posted a 94% jump in net profit at Rs 248.71 crore for the year ended March 31, 2006 when compared with Rs 128.50 crore for FY05.

According to an official release issued to the BSE today, total income has increased to Rs 1914.18 crore for FY06 from Rs 1365.70 crore in FY05.

The company has posted a net profit of Rs 78.85 crore for the quarter ended March 31, 2006 as compared to Rs 42.18 crore for Q4FY05. Total income has increased to Rs 368.73 crore for Q4FY06 from Rs 271.35 crore in Q4FY05.

The board has recommended a dividend of 130%, i.e.Rs 13 per share.
