Indian Airlines management is likely to call an urgent meeting around noon to resolve the issue with striking employees.

The government representatives are also likely to attend the meeting. Air Corporation Employees Union, president, J K Badola told Business Standard, "The union is very much firm on its decision to go on indefinite non-cooperation movement, though government has strictly warned them against the strike".

The morning flights were mostly delayed while some were cancelled.

"The scene at the Mumbai international airport is very bad. The strike has affected flight schedules very badly", say airport sources.
