Indo Rama to invest Rs 850cr for doubling prodn

Indo Rama Synthetics (India) is all set to double production with an additional investment of Rs 850 crore.

Om Prakash Lohia, chairman and managing director of the company, said capacity would be hiked to 1,600 tonne per day (TPD) from the present 800 TPD.

On an annual basis, the capacity would increase to six lakh tonne from three lakh tonne, he added.

Lohia said the company is in the final stages of starting a captive power plant to generate 30 MW to augment power supply.
