Indo Tech to market Dupont transformers

Indo Tech Transformers has entered into a strategic alliance with E.I. Dupont India for technical and marketing assistance for ReliatraN brand Resin Impregnated dry type transformers of Dupont.

According to an official release issued by Indo Tech to the BSE today, E.I. Dupont India is the Gurgaon based Indian arm of Dupont. It will also enter into a brand licence agreement with E.I. Dupont De Nemours & Company, US, the parent of E.I. Dupont India, for use of the NOMEX and ReliatraN trademarks. The company will officially launch the first product on December 15, 2007 at Chennai.

The first proto type 1000KVA/11KV/433V dry type transformer was successfully type tested during the first week of September 2007 at Electrical Research and Development Association (ERDA), Vadodara.
