The US-based Infinite Computer Solutions, an IT services company, is looking at acquisitions in the banking, financial services and insurance (BFSI) and healthcare sectors.
The company is in talks with a venture capitalist in Asia to raise funds for its expansion through acquisitions. The company is strong in servicing the utilities sector, which includes telecom, media and energy.
Speaking to Business Standard on the sidelines of Nasscom 2003 currently on in Mumbai, Upinder Zutshi, chief operating officer, indicated that the company is planning two acquisitions this year, one in the US and the other in India.

The US acquisition would primarily be for existing clients and also transition of their work into India, while the one in India would be for the development centre and to leverage the already existing strengths.
