Infotech services company Infogain will invest $3 million in developing a new facility in Noida besides adding about 260 more to its Indian workforce to touch 600 in the next 18 months.

"We will invest $3 million in our 90,000 sq ft development facility coming up in Noida, which will house two buildings and will become operational in September," SK Nanda, chairman of Infogain India, said here today. The company has two development centres in Noida.

We would also take our current headcount to 600 from 340 over the next one-and-a-half years and these professionals would be deployed in business intelligence, application management and professional engineering services, Nanda said.

Infogain India, the India development centre of its US-based parent Infogain, was looking to be a 1,000-workforce company over the next two to three years, he said.

After Noida, Infogain is also looking at setting up development centres in south India and places like Pune. But that would be at a later date, he said.

The India development centre of the company is eyeing a revenue of $25 million by next year, up from $12 million at present.

Last year, Infogain acquired two business process outsourcing companies -- one each in India and the US, which also includes one with a 100-seat capacity at Gurgaon in Haryana.
