Infopark, Caspian Techparks to create 450,000 sft office space

The project is expected to generate about 4,000 jobs after completion

Kochi-based Infopark and infra developer Caspian Techparks India Pvt Ltd have joined hands to create 450,000 sft office space as part of Infopark Phase-II development.

As per the lease agreement for 90 years, Kochi-based Caspian Techparks will construct in phases 450,000 sft work space to cater to needs of IT&ITeS companies on a 2.62 acre land provided as part of Phase II development of Infopark.

The partnership deal was signed here by Hrishikesh Nair, CEO, Infopark, and Thomas Chacko, managing director of Caspian Techparks.

"This is yet another milestone in the development of Infopark's Phase II project, which is coming up on 160 acres of land adjacent to the Phase I," said Nair. The project is expected to generate about 4,000 jobs after completion.
 

The first leg of the project, to be ready by March 2016, will have 120,000 sft of work space. The new building has been designed on par with international standards, and will house shopping centres and multiplexes.

The Rs 2,500-crore Infopark Phase II project has received backing from several IT firms and infrastructure developers, including Cognizant, Brigade Group, UST Global, Claysys Technologies and Padiyath Innovation.
