Infosys Technologies, a global leader in IT solutions, has awarded a turnkey automatic meter reading contract worth Rs 32 crore to Easun Reyrolle Ltd (ERL), the Bangalore-based market leader in providing innovative and wide spectrum of power management and automation solutions in transmission and distribution segment.
The contract will allow Easun to implement meter data acquisition solution in designated 100 towns covering all the five electricity distribution companies (DISCOMs) of Karnataka. ERL well execute this project in Karnataka within 18 months.
