Infosys Finacle Q1 sales up 24% at Rs 356 cr

Finacle, the banking product division of Infosys Technologies, recorded 23.7% jump in turnover to $79.5 million (about Rs 356 crore) for the first quarter ended June 30, 2011.

"The topline [during the quarter] rose to $79.5 million as against $64.2 million in the same quarter a year ago," said Haragopal M, global head, Finacle.

However, turnover declined by 7.6% on quarter-on-quarter basis. In the January-March quarter of 2011, the division recorded a turnover of $86.1 million.

Haragopal said the division signed 11 new deals during April-June quarter. Nearly 20 banks and financial institutions across the globe have implemented Finacle during the quarter under review.

 

Finacle, with over 148 clients across 72 countries, has rolled out few new products including Mobile Banking solution.
