Construction and mining machinery maker, Ingersoll-Rand (India) today said in order to tide over the reduction in customer orders the company has decided to curtail the production activity at the Ahmedabad factory.
The company said in a filing to the Bombay Stock Exchange that the board at its meeting held on January 29 had decided to curtail the production activity.
Further, it has authorised the Managing Director to suitably reduce the number of working days in each month as is commensurate to meet the level of reduced orders.
