Construction and mining machinery maker Ingersoll-Rand (India) today reported a 80.92 per cent decline in its net profit at Rs 15.86 crore for the third quarter ended December 31, 2008, as compared to Rs 83.16 crore in the same period a year ago.
Net sales stood at Rs 93.53 crore in the quarter under review from Rs 134.57 crore in the corresponding year ago period.
Shares of the company closed at Rs 235, down 3.01 per cent on the BSE.
