The company is in the process of acquiring five acres of land in Mysore. "The Karnataka Industrial Area Development Board (KIADB) has allotted the land to us. However, the land is yet to be handed over to us. The process is on," Innmar Tourism and Hotels Ltd Chairman Murali Krishna Reddy said on Friday. |
However, the details regarding investment and the size of the hotel proposed in Mysore were not revealed. Reddy said the company was still engaged in discussions with potential partners for the project. |
"As of now, we have not even decided whether we should opt for Fortune brand for the proposed Mysore hotel," he added. |
Innmar Tourism on Friday opened the Fortune Select Trinity hotel, which has been developed with an investment of Rs 30 crore. All 143 rooms in the hotel have wi-fi connectivity. Fortune's superior brand, Fortune Club room, are also on offer. |
An exclusive Fortune Club Lounge would also be added to the hotel facilities shortly. Fortune Park Hotels President Suresh Kumar said the hotel will cater to the IT sector. |
Reddy pointed out that Fortune Select Trinity was Innmar Tourism's first hotel project in Karnataka. |
"Our construction business is based out of Bangalore. We have been targeting Bangalore to develop a hotel all these years. We are looking at other locations in the state for more such hotel projects," he stated. |
