Nasdaq-listed semiconductor manufacturer Intel Corporation is expected to unveil Haswell, its next-generation of core processors built on low-power 22nm (nanometer) technology, in the next couple of months.
“We will be unleashing soon the 22nm fourth-generation core processor in the less-than-10-Watt energy consumption space, as against the current series of processors that consume 15 Watt energy,” Jitendra Chaddah, director (strategy and planning), Intel India, said on Monday.
Chaddah was in Hyderabad as part of Intel’s nationwide campaign for driving domestic adaptation of technology in 40 cities of 10 states across the country.
