Intelligroup to focus on financial services

Intelligroup, a global provider of business consulting technology and outsourcing services, is zeroing in on the financial services vertical.

"Financial services is a relatively new area for us. We have good expertise in SAP 'collections and disbursements'. We are now planning to take this module to the insurance companies and penetrate the financial services sector both in India and abroad," Alok Pant, vice-president (global marketing and alliances), Intelligroup, said here on Tuesday.

SAP's collections and disbursements module enables the insurance companies to manage the billing and receiving of premiums. The company has added US-based GE Reinsurance as a customer for its SAP-enabled insurance module.

Meanwhile, the company has attained the certified advantage partner status in Oracle PartnerNetwork. Oracle-certified advantage partners have to consistently demonstrate the highest level of competency, superior product knowledge, technical expertise and commitment to Oracle technology and applications.

The $125-million Intelligroup has operations in the US, UK, Denmark and West Asia.
