"We will be setting up four regional satellites labs in the country, which would cater to local requirements and these labs would be connected to our main lab in Gurgaon," Intertek Global Food Services Division President Jochen Zoller told reporters at the opening of its first modern food testing lab in Gurgaon.

The lab was inaugurated by Minister for Food Processing Industries Subodh Kant Sahay.

The UK-based Intertek has set up the lab at an investment of Rs 10 crore for providing testing, inspection and certification services to food processing industry in the region.
