Talking to reporters here today, CEO Ashish Vachhani said, "India's medical transcription industry has shown healthy growth over the last several years. However, it has tapped only a fraction of global opportunity".
The market for medical transcription is worth any where between $6 billion and $15 billion per year in USA alone and Indian companies penetration in the market is estimated to be barely 10 per cent, Vachhani said.
According to him, the healthcare services industry in Gujarat is poised for continued growth and Intivia plans to play a major role in the expansion, Vachhani stated.
Intivia has been involved in the growth of transcription industry in Gujarat over the last six years by providing work to local companies.
Intivia's own operations starting in Vadodara from July next, will provide rapid expansion and more opportunities for people across the state.
