Intl trade fair on paper industry from Sept 1

Indian Paper 2005', an international trade fair and technical conference on paper industry will be held in Coimbatore from September 1 to 4, 2005.
 
A press statement said that the Indian Paper 2005 hopes to address these issues faced by the Indian Paper Industry by bringing together paper machinery manufacturers, materials and service providers, newsprint equipment and machinery manufacturers, technology providers, paper, board and corrugated box manufacturers and packaging specialists and also showcase the latest developments and technology.
 
Since globalisation, the Indian Paper industry is growing at a phenomenal rate and has been exposed to global prices, demands and supply trends. However, it still needs to cope with several bottlenecks to compete in the global scenario, especially technology.
 
Coinciding with the trade fair, a technical conference on cleaner production in pulp and paper industry will be conducted. Technical specialists from the global paper industry will get an opportunity to share their experience and knowledge.
 
The fair is being organised by Sai Expocon India Pvt Ltd in association with the Indian Paper Industry and co-sponsored by Central Pulp and paper research institute (an autonomous organisation under the administrative control of the ministry of commerce and industry, Government of India), Kraft Paper Manufacturers of South India and Kumarappa National Handmade Paper institute.
