The Indian Oil Corporation today said it has not approached the Supreme Court on the issue of Centre's notification governing prices of petroleum products.
Debunking media reports that the Supreme Court had clubbed its petition with a similar matter, IOC said in a statement that it has "not filed any such petition raising the issue of whether the Union Government notification governing prices of petroleum products can be construed as law".
IOC said it is the market leader in the oil and gas industry and such wrong and misleading reports can cause alarm among shareholders.
