IOC, Gulf Oil deal on Car Care

Indian Oil Corporation Limited, the largest petroleum marketing company in the country, has entered into an arrangement with Gulf Oil for the sale of Gulf Car Care Products through the IOC retail outlets.
 
In the current market scenario, great emphasis is being laid by vehicle owners on preventive maintenance of expensive automobiles.
 
This arrangement for sale of car care products between IOC and Gulf Oil is expected to go a long way in offering value added products to the motoring public at Indian Oil retail outlets.
 
In Phase I, the car care products would be test marketed in five major cities of the country, namely Mumbai, Delhi, Bangalore, Ahmedabad and Chandigarh. Later, the Car Care Products will be launched all over the country.
 
Speaking about the product launch, NC Sekharan, head - Lubricants SBU of Gulf Oil Corporation said, "It is a great opportunity for Gulf Oil to be associated with India's largest petroleum company, which owns over 10,000 retail outlets. We intend to work closely with IOC in order to enhance the value proposition to the Indian customers by introducing a wide range of Car Care products through the IOC outlets.
