| TVS Motor Company on Monday dismissed allegations of patent rights infringement by Pune-based rival Bajaj Auto, saying that technologies used by both companies in their motorcycles are vastly different. TVS said that the patent was granted to Bajaj Auto for an improved four-stroke internal combustion (IC) engine having two valves. The patent, as granted, rests on the two valves as the distinct new feature, not on two spark plugs, TVS contended.
