IPOL Lubricants has started a major branding and marketing exercise in North India, with an eye on the mammoth truckers’ fraternity.

The campaign will be conducted in a dozen ‘transport nagars’ and would be supported by road shows in 85 towns across Uttar Pradesh, Haryana and Punjab over the next two months.

“After the successful ‘Truckers Fun Mela’ in Punjab, it is now the turn of truckers, mechanics, farmers and distributors in Uttar Pradesh and Haryana,” said Pankaj Mitta, assistant vice-president.

He said the campaign titled ‘IPOL Humsafar Mela’ launched here, would be targeted at truckers, mechanics and tractor owners. “This is to demonstrate that IPOL Lubricants understands the stress to the vehicle, vehicle owner/driver and the mechanics,” said Ajit Joshi, senior general manager.

The distribution network nationwide comprised about 30 depots and 200 distributors. It is available at more than 15,000 retailers and workshops.

IPOL Lubricants, launched in 2004, belongs to Sah Petroleums Ltd. The listed company specialises in manufacturing and marketing of industrial and automotive lubricants, process oils, transformer oils and greases in India and abroad.
