Domestic steel maker Ispat Industries today said its loss has widened to Rs 331 crore in the second quarter of the current financial year.
The steel maker had a loss of Rs 79 crore in the same period a year ago.
The steel major clocked net sales of Rs 2,154 crore in the second quarter, registering a rise of 6 per cent, the company said in a filing to the Bombay Stock Exchange.
The net sales of the firm in the second quarter of the last fiscal was Rs 2,032 crore.
The shares of the company closed at Rs 20.30 on the BSE, down 2.33 per cent from its previous close.
