Ispat targets 25% cut in production costs

 The company has laid out an additional investment plan of around Rs 890 crore for backward integration, which will cut its production costs by more than Rs 1,100 crore annually.

 The expansion plan includes the setting up of a coal preparation plant, which alone will bring down the costs by over Rs 100 crore.
