Infotech companies in Gujarat, once projected as the second hottest destination for IT companies in India after Hyderabad, are finding the going tough.
Many IT companies have begun moving their business activities away from the state, while others have closed shop for good.
Companies such as Applitech Solution Ltd have been unable to pay employees for the last four months. Only two months ago, Ankil Patel, managing director of Applitech Solution, had said the company was on a revival path. However, that has not happened yet.
