Italian food chain enters India

The traditional Italian food items brand would soon have presence across India with its first store launched in Pune.

Ghai Group involved in hospitality sector has launched this Italian brand in India. The Italicks retail stores would have presence in 40 to 45 cities in India over next two years.

Italicks Executive Director Pankajj Chaturvedi told Business Standard, the store would serve the most authentic Italian beverages, foot items and ice creams.

 

The store would sell the popular gelato flavours of ice creams in addition to some of the Indian fruit flavours like papaya and mango.

Consumers would have a delightful range of some of the finest Italian savories, lip smacking desserts, select coffees and cold frozen beverages at the store. Italicks would be rolled out nationally through a franchise module.

"There would be different formats of Italicks such as kiosk at malls and airports, standalone stores and large format stores. We are planning to set up 40 to 50 Italicks stores across the country by December this year," Chaturvedi added.
