ItzCash from the Essel group stable, today said that it has tied-up with Thomas Cook to facilitate online travel bookings.
This association between the two entities is expected to drive a completely new set of customers to the Thomas Cook online booking facility, a press release issued here stated.
The alliance will ensure that all Thomas Cook customers can now avail the benefit of online transaction with the use of ItzCash Cards while booking rail and air tickets and other products available on the portal www.Thomascook.In, the release said.
ItzCash plans to increase its portfolio of services offered to its esteemed customers. The company also plans to reach out to the population, which is a non-holder of banking instruments, thus building new relationship and expanding its customer base, the release said.
The partnership is looking at an increase in online transactions at Thomas Cook and the estimated target for the next six months is 1.5-lakh transactions in rail booking and 0.5-lakh transactions for air booking.
