IVRCL gets orders worth Rs 600 cr

IVRCL Infrastructures & Projects Ltd, (IVRCL) today announced that the order book position has improved by about Rs 600 crore with power and water divisions bagging new orders.

According to a release issued by the company to the BSE today, the power division has won orders worth Rs 460.20 crore and the water division has got orders totalling Rs 139.80 crore.

The major orders include rural electrification work in Bhagalpur district of Bihar under the central government scheme of accelerated electrification of one lakh villages and one crore households worth Rs 53.58 crore, and rural electrification work in Gonda District in U.P. under the Rajeev Gandhi Grameen Vidyudikaran Yojana worth Rs 192 crore.

The company has also won orders for rural electrification work under the accelerated Rural Water Electrification in Jalaun, Lalitpur, Hamirpur and Mahoba, Bonda and Chitrapur districts of Uttar Pradesh totalling Rs 181.59 crore.

"The company has also won the EPC contract for the pipeline project from Khorsam to Sujalam Sufalam spreading canal awarded by Gujarat Water Resources Development Corporation for Rs 111.50 crore," the release added.
