IVRCL Infra net shoots up in Q3

IVRCL Infrastructure & Projects's net profit shot up by 500 per cent to Rs 8.24 crore for the quarter ended December as against Rs 1.37 crore registered for the corresponding period last fiscal.

Total income too jumped up 148 per cent to Rs 215 crore from Rs 86.7 crore. Net profit margin improved to 3.8 per cent from 1.6 per cent on year-on-year basis, due to substantial reduction in other expenditure to Rs 6.58 crore from Rs 10.94 crore.

For the nine months ended December, the company posted a 204 per cent rise in profit at Rs 21 crore compared with Rs 6.91 crore during the corresponding period last year.

The total income jumped by 135 per cent to Rs 561 crore from Rs 238.73 crore. EPS for the nine months was at Rs 19.89 as against Rs 7.94.
