Jaguar Land Rover global sales up 17% in Sept

In September, Jaguar sold 8,462 units, up 35% reflecting strong demand for all XF derivatives

Tata Motors-owned Jaguar Land Rover today reported 17% increase in its global sales in September this year at 43,181 units.
 
September sales were strong for Jaguar Land Rover in the China Region, up 46%, North America up 6%, the UK up 11%, Asia Pacific up 29% and other overseas markets, higher 15%, the company said in a statement.
 
In September, Jaguar sold 8,462 units, up 35% reflecting strong demand for all XF derivatives, JLR said, adding Land Rover sold 34,719 units, up 13%.
 
Commenting on the performance, Jaguar Land Rover Group Sales Operations Director Andy Goss said: "This has been another record month for Jaguar and Land Rover with significant sales growth across all major regions".
 
 
The XF has delivered a September sales record thanks to an enhanced engine line-up and the introduction of the Sportbrake and the XJ continues to do well, particularly in China and North America, he added.
