After multiplexes, the Jai Mata Di group is set to invest about Rs 50 crore in setting up an enclave with 300 apartments here.

In another major development, the company has procured 150 acres in Amritsar and is planning to set up a complex there. Managing Director Sunil Bedi said the Amritsar project would be a multi-crore one but did not give the details.

"The multi-storeyed complex 'Sukhmani enclave' will have about 300 apartments. It will have both 3-room sets and 4-room sets. There will be a corporate building to be rented out," Bedi said.

Both the projects (the city near Amritsar and the Sukhmani Enclave in Ludhiana) are being designed in Singapore. They will be completed in 18 months," Bedi said.
