Jaiprakash February cement sales up 61%

Jaiprakash Associates today recorded a 60.58 per cent rise in cement sales for February, 2010 at 11.61 lakh tonnes as compared to 7.23 lakh tonnes in the same month last year.

During the April-February period of the current-fiscal, total sales of the company increased to 39.8 per cent to 101.53 lakh tonnes against 72.62 lakh tonnes in the same period last fiscal.
